Whoa I’m still on adreneline high from reading this! Awesome! Squared tripled or more! I especially liked that while the RATs are tough as nails they are not unfeeling, cold nor complete asses. And your leading lady can truly keep up with them both in brains and in physical toughness. Usually the ladyfriend is a stubborn clutz with half a brain cell in these kind of love stories (both books and movies) and people drop their business every five seconds to make hot steam for at least half an hour. Although I doubt a bit she and TJ would’ve been able to do half as much with half the injuries in real life I also know of crazy stuff people can do under extremes thanks to adrenaline. I still believe from all of the stories with this kind of setting that I’ve read this was the most life-like and believable. Anyway I really want to read more where this came from.
